Hi, I'm Emmie! I have been a licensed cosmetologist for 9 years!
My favorite services include; makeup applications, haircuts, dimensional balayages and color melts!

I grew up in a small town in Connecticut, not knowing if I wanted to be a singer or an archaeologist. I spent most of my childhood as a tom boy, digging up salamanders and racing the neighborhood boys on bikes.
Little did I know what I would come to enjoy in my future!
I remember always going into my mothers Clinque makeup collection and playing with everything.. not knowing what any of it did or how to use it.
In middle school, I dabbled with the "smuged black eyeliner" look and even some hot pink shadow from hot topic! Always changing up my hair color with friends, and giving "at home" fringe/bangs.
I should have known then, that the cosmetology field was where I belonged!
In high school, I really got into the groove of things; doing makeup in gym glass or playing with hair after my accounting tests. Also, can't forget all of my friends prom looks! That's when I landed my first job in the atmosphere that I've grown to love. I was a receptionist at the time, learning how a salon works and interacting with clients.
After beauty school, I was so nervous, but excited to put my cosmetologist license to the test! Once I got into the groove of things, I felt right at home! I have since worked my way up; from working at a corporate salon, to working for a smaller salon, and now working as an independent stylist! I have come a long way and I am happy that I get to do what I love everyday; making people feel fabulous!
